You are starting a journey with a program that has a long tradition of helping others and building strong and healthy communities. You are not only a member of a local program you are also part of a nationwide movement to utilize the skills and talents of the nation’s senior adults. RSVP began almost 40 years ago and has continued to gain momentum throughout its years of success.
As you serve in your community, you bring years of experience to our local organizations, and you make a difference. We are excited that you have chosen to use your time, skills, talents and experience to make a difference with RSVP! This handbook with attached enrollment form is a guide to the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program—the benefits to you and our pledge to help you find your place of service. Please read it carefully and refer to it when necessary. And, if you need additional information or help, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here to help!
